2026 New Mexico Hunting License Fees

Non-Residents:

Elk Non-Resident License – $773.00
Deer Non-Resident License – $398.00
Antelope Non-Resident License – $423.00
Oryx Non-Resident License – $1,623.00
Turkey Non-Resident License – $13 (application fee only*)

Residents:

Elk Resident License – $100.00
Deer Resident License – $60.00
Antelope Resident License – $70.00
Oryx Resident License – $185.00
Turkey Resident License – $7 (application fee only*)

*Successful applicants must purchase a 2026-2027 Game-Hunting License or a Game-Hunting & Fishing License, plus the applicable over-the-counter license and stamp(s) beginning March 25.

Muzzleloader:

  • Youth & Mobility impaired: Oct. 10-14

  • 2nd Season: Oct. 24-28
  • 3rd Season: Nov. 14-18 / Nov. 21-25

Rifle:

  • Youth & Mobility Impaired: Oct. 10-14
  • 1st season: Oct. 17-21
  • 2nd Season: Oct. 24-28
  • Cow Elk Season: Dec. 5-9 / Dec. 12-16
