The Cast Iron Ranger: Teriyaki Game Marinade
Did you ever wonder why big game hunting is allowed in New Mexico? Because it helps control the animal population and prevents crop damage on the many family owned farms in New Mexico. So what do you do with the elk, deer, antelope or oryx after the hunt? Make a great dinner of course. Here is a great recipe for Teriyaki Game Marinade.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup of Oil
3/4 cups of Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon of Brown Sugar
1/4 teaspoon of Chopped Powder
1/2 teaspoon of Ginger
1/4 teaspoon of Minced Garlic
Marinating Instructions:
Place into a bag with your choice of Elk, Deer, Antelope, Oryx, or Turkey and shake the bag every hour or two, up to 2-3 hours (marinate longer for more flavor).
